TDMNet Zero Commitment
TDM LUX LTD is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations and supply activities and to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or earlier, covering Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and the relevant Scope 3 emissions associated with our operations and supply chain.
As a growing business operating across procurement, laboratory and scientific supplies, logistics and related services, we recognise our responsibility to consider environmental sustainability as our operations develop.
TDM will work progressively to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with its activities and supply chain. Our approach includes:
- considering environmental impact when selecting suppliers, products and logistics solutions;
- working with suppliers and logistics partners to identify opportunities to reduce transport and distribution emissions;
- reducing unnecessary business travel and using digital communication where practical;
- minimising waste and encouraging responsible packaging, reuse and recycling practices;
- improving our measurement and understanding of Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions as the business grows; and
- periodically reviewing our environmental performance and progress towards our Net Zero target.
TDM will develop its greenhouse gas emissions measurement and reporting capabilities as the scale and complexity of its operations increase. This will enable us to establish appropriate emissions baselines, identify reduction opportunities and monitor progress towards our Net Zero commitment.
This commitment will be reviewed periodically to ensure that our environmental objectives remain appropriate to our business and consistent with applicable UK procurement and sustainability requirements.
